CCS Coloured Concrete Brings Surfers Paradise Foreshore To Life!
Features of the new design include four new toilet blocks, three beach shelters, a 20 metre-wide pedestrian promenade, barbecues, picnic areas, feature lighting and new, improved beach access points with disability ramps.

CCS pigments were chosen to provide a 'lift' to the practical and easy to maintain concrete and to complement the beachside environment.
CCS Liquorice, CCS Pearl Shell, CCS Oyster, CCS Honeycomb, CCS Dessert Buff and CCS Ghost Gum were specified because of their 'earthy', natural appeal and sections of the different colours were used to 'break up' long sections of walkways and provide an interesting contrast.
The integrally coloured concrete walkways were finished in both broomed and exposed aggregate finishes to once again provide a safe, but interesting contrast and variety.
Precast concrete seating was coloured with CCS Liquorice and then polished for aesthetic appeal.
